A celebration of the Nonprofit Sector
Charitable nonprofit organizations operate in every county and in all Tribal Nations in Montana. Nonprofits provide essential services, support Montana’s quality of life, and partner with government to uphold the state’s social safety net. 11.4% of Montanans work for charitable nonprofits as frontline workers, guardians of community well-being, and economic drivers. They bring community-based, people-centered solutions, and lighten the burdens of government, taxpayers, and society as a whole.
Now, more than ever, it’s time to celebrate the sector. Join us for Montana’s Best on Wednesday, September 28th starting at 5:15 p.m. at the Great Northern Best Western in Helena. We’ll gather for ourselves, our teams, and our communities in recognition and celebration of the incredible impact nonprofits have had in the state this past year.
The evening will start at 5:15 pm with the opportunity to mix and mingle with peers, colleagues, and friends from across Montana. We’ll then hear from some nonprofit leaders and allies about their reflections and appreciations of the great work nonprofits have done and continue to do every day. Finally, it’s movie time! Be the first to enjoy the premiere of Montana’s Best: A Celebration of the Nonprofit Sector, a 20-minute feature film that shares the story of the sector. Experience nonprofit community leadership in action as we visit with nonprofits and their constituents from all corners of Montana.
Times are tough. That’s for sure. But together, we are a force for good. Gather with us this September to honor our very best.
